okay first off i know theres a few threads on soul calibur 3 but none of them have helped me

so. my problem is not burning (yet) my problem is getting the iso onto my computer...i tried dvd decrypter...and i have a ntsc version of soul calibur 3...i have a memorex 16x dvd +- dual layer burner...and when it starts to read it has an error while extracting sectors...it only gets to 1% is there anybody that would know how to fix that? or another program i could try? this method has worked with every other ps2 game i have tried

heres what it says...and i know its not a scratched disk i just removed it from the plastic 2 days ago and the game works fine in all modes

I hope Memorex burner's are better than Memorex media. Sulaim's idea is a good one. Alcohol 120% can create an image from anything, no matter how scratched. You may have to let your burner run for awhile, but it'll finish. You can abort the process at anytime.

88. Q. How do I burn PS2 DVD games with Alcohol 120%?
A. Ripping the game to your Hard Drive:

1. Insert your disc.
2. Open Alcohol 120%.
3. Click Image Making Wizard.
4. Check Ignore read errors, select your recorder, leave the never seperate box alone.
5. Click Next. Select a destination for the game. Click Start.
Once the process is complete, you'll get an mds and an mdf file. Click finish, if necessary.

Burning the game to DVD:
1. Insert your blank disc.
2. Right click the mdf file.
3. Select Image Burning Wizard.
4. Select your recorder, set the write speed to 4x.
5. Click next.

Note: I use Alcohol 120% as my backup program for ripping scratched originals. DVD Decrypter can be picky with scratched discs. I use DVD Decrypter to burn the mds file. For purposes of this guide, I'm assuming you are you using Alcohol 120% to burn the game to disc. Feel free to use whatever works for you.
