Hi! I have a problem and i think that you can help me! I have a swap magic, for my ps2, and i can't play! Because, when i cange the cd's, i put "load program", and after that says "ps2 file not find". Some one can help me with this? PLS

what other than swap magic do you use, what other mod do you have to stop the PS2 from resetting when you swap

My swamp magic it's the 3.6 version! And i already try different games, and nothing! My ps2 it's the old one (the big) for swamp the cd's, i use a thing that have come with the cd's, that i put that thing under the drive, and unlock.....

What dvd's do you use? use only good high quality media like Taiyo yuden, verbatim or maxell(Made in Japan)... and most times Ritek too, although some people don't like them (mine work fine)
And burn the game at 4x on 8x media using DVD Decrypter or nero's "burn image to disc" option in startsmart.
Have a look at my guide for other things you can do if that doesn't work.. (it's in my sig or in the stickies)
Be warned though, if you don't take the advice about media it most probably won't matter what you do as you'll always have bad burns etc.

so you're using the Slide Card that comes with the Swap Magic or are you using the Flip-Top lid for the PS2??

@ Pepsimaxx - Sorry, but he already said the slide card...
another thing, make sure that you're locking the tray back into place after you close the drive... a lot of people have made the mistake of not doign that and say their games don't work.

what dvds you useing speed you are burning at
what game
how do you back your game up
and check to make sure you are using the right disks to swap
as in if its cd game use compact disk
if a dvd r use the dvd disk to swap
also when you say its say ps2 file not found is that what it says
or dose it say please insert a vaild ps2 disk
as ive never heard of a ps2 game say that before

I use the swamp magic 3.6, i already, try use the games on other playstation with my swamp magic, and on the other ps2, that had work! i don't know why! On the ps2 of my friend, with my swamp, had work, and on mine, when i put load program, under "load program" and "....pad" (i don't remember, lol) under that 2 things appear "Not a valid PS2 disc", and not "not ps2 file found", it was my mistake!lol.
i use a slide card! and i lock the drive!

and i use the the swamp that it's to work with games in dvds! Sorry, respond so late, but i just can come to internet, in this hours!

If the games you burned are working on a different ps2, then the problem with yours is probably that you need to use the other format of disc.. if using DVD-R, switch to DVD+R.. and if using DVD+R, switch to DVD-R or booktype the discs when you burn.. there's a link in my profile page to a site about how to booktype.
