I was in my computer looking for what type of memory i had and took it out to see then i put it back in and now the computer will turn on automatically without me pressing the power button and nothing displays on the monitor
make sure that you have put the memory back in the dimm correctly and that all of your other connectors are firmly in place. if you mishandled the memory dimm then its possible that youve killed it through ESD (electro-static discharge)
if you have 2 memory modules in the machine take out the same one that you took out before and see if you can boot.
if you can then the module you originally took out to look at is now dead

it is possible yes im just trying to eliminate all the options before telling you that lol
if you have onboard graphics, take out your graphics card and try just using the onboard to see if you get any response at all.
if your still getting nothing from it then youve killed either the mobo or the cpu or infact everything that was attatched to the board.
the only way to find out if all your components are working is to try them in another system but in doing that you risk damage to the system your trying them in
