I installed fliptop top swap magic worked fine with my backups for a few hours then the next day the thing wouldnt load it would be like a 30 second delay kept getting disc read errors and now my ps2 wont load swap magic or normal ps2 games, any opinions on what i should do?

Try adjusting the laser and make sure you burn you games at the slowest speed possible.

Never heard of such thing (Swap Magic fried the PS2)? I've had my Swap Magic 3.6 Plus and Fliptop for nearly 1 year and I've seen or experienced any issues like that whatsoever.

Try to loosen all your screws and try to take out your "white hub ring" underneath the Fliptop, then loosen that little screws and try to boot again to see if you'll see any success.

Yeah you need a laser repair. Try doing searches on the internet for some and see what you can find.

whatwould make the laser unaligned? right now it wont read any games but it can be readjusted to work? i'll try ;)
