I have recently had a mod chip installed and i have been burning games just with Nero express with no problems.
i dont want to sound stupid but basically wanted to know if this is ok, obviously it has been so far, but am i missing out on quality etc by doing so instead of with DVD decrypter
Will nero burn all games or have i just got lucky and is it ok to burn at 4x speed as the guy who installed it said i should burn at as low speed as possible. I use ritec DVD+R discs which seem fine so far
thanks for any advice
P.s you guys are awesome and helped me heaps of times just by reading forums when i wasnt a member as they came up in google search when i asked anything related to this

The Ritek discs should be fine.. I use them too most of the time... what is the certified max speed of them though? if it's 8x or higher then yes you're fine to burn at 4x. Most people use DVD Decrypter to read the iso to hard disk and then burn the iso as well.. but if you're doing fine with Nero then that's ok.
Basically the rule is - If it ain't broke don't try and fix it... then if you come across any problems post your problem on this forum with as much info about it as you can.

Welcome to the forums by the way :) It's good to see someone that took the same steps as I did and actually READ something about the topic before trying to backup games etc... I applaud your intelligence.

If you get stuck with something, lte me know and I'll try and help you out.

i agree, stick with what works. Nero is a great program.
Most people like myself use DVD Decrypter because when they
started out that is what people told them to use.
It was free and still works great. I do all my games with it.
I also have Nero but have not really tried doing many games
with it as DVD Decrypter is just so easy and fast.
Nero is also a very handy program if you are a Swap Magic user,
as rebuilding a game when you have Nero is so much easier than
the method needed by those who do not.
happy burning.
