I have just recently bought a (MSI-TV@NYWHERE VIDEO CAPTURE CARD)

Im very confused i installed this CAPTURE CARD and everything loaded up fine worked great, But when i capture from my camcorder which is a SHARP VL A10 VIEWCAM theres a problem i begin to capture the video to my hard drive whilst its capturing i can obviously see the picture and on the right hand side of the video theres either a red or green stripe.
Does anybody know what this is i can't find any information anywhere on this.
This capture card requires a computer with 256mb of ram i have that but i know alot of my other devices will be using this ram up,will getting more ram installed stop this problem?
I havn't tried capturing from my VCR infact i got so PI**ED OFF i uninstalled the device from my pc and would like to reinstall this only when i know of the problem.
CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP.........................
