Hi! i want to upgrade my ram memory and i have a big question...my bios will recognize the new ram ( 1gb) ? the maximum showed is 768 but the in the mobo manual the max limit is 3 gb. do i have to upgrade my bios...? does anybody know a site with bios upgrade for my mobo?

it says that because it calculates the maximim if you had the same in every slot so i should take 3 gig in total if you had 3 x 1 gig sticks.

also you should have that single module in memory slot 1 rather than slot 3

you might want to update your bios anyway as its 3 yrs old now
