I just got a new ISP and am having problems with my download speed. I am using Giganews news server with Grabit as my newsreader. I have a 1.5mb connection and I am not using a router. My download speeds with Grabit fluctuate between 120-190kb.

Is this an average speed or is there something wrong? The first time I started Grabit, it began at 1550kb and then declined to around 180.

Also, could it be my pc? I know that Grabit requires a lot of RAM to perform, and I have an older computer.

Any help would be much appreciated!
