About a week ago I cleaned out the inside of my computer , it was full of dust and I disconnected the CD and the DVD drive and at the end when I was finished I reconnected them both. I have taken it apart several times to make sure all of the wires are connected back right, but for some odd reason when I go under My Computer, both of the drives do not show up, so it is like i dont have those 2 drives, am I connecting it wrong or is it something on the computer itself???????????HELP ME PLZ!!!!

Got to Control Panel - System - System Hardware - Device Manager and see if they're both recognized there.

The only thing shown under device manager is the floppy disk, so i am assuming that means that they arent connected properly right??

I just pulled out a cdrw and installed a new dvdrw. When I put it in the computer, I placed it on top of my other dvdrw. The computer wouldn't see either. I took them both out again and realized I had the master and slave flip flopped. I switched the jumper cables, put them both back in, and the computer can see them now. So in short, make sure the jumper settings are correct.

If it worked before you got into the case, then the wiring is not put back properly now. If you have a newer machine, your secondary IDE should be black or gray on the M/B and your Primary should be blue. Your optical drives should be on your secondary which would be the black or grey IDE on the M/B. Also make sure you have the power supply ends connected to the drives as well.

In other words, check your cables and wire connections.
