first things first, they are NTSC games not ntfs. choose the NTSC option in video mode of swap magic and press x

if this doesn't work, try patching it with a NTSC 2 PAL patch.

there is loads of info about it here. try using the search option

Yes, when you've loaded up the swap magic dvd/cd it has a load screen.. flashing "load program"... underneath that it says something like "video mode normal" which, on a PAL ps2 means it's set to PAL.. navigate to that text so that it's flashing and at the bottom of the screen it has a guide as to what buttons change the video mode..use them until it says NTSC or similar and then navigate back up to the load program text and load the disc as normal.

If that doesn't work then it'll need to be patched.. check my buddy Tokijin's quick links.. it has loads of useful info about that and many other things you might need to know http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/252193

good luck with it

detailed information is the key to helping people.
also the key to getting help, which is one thing i
do not think people quite understand.
"my game won't work..help me"
is just a good way to piss people off because now they have to ask you a ton of questions just to assist you.

@ Sulaim - thanks buddy :)

@ Steimy - yeah I totally agree with that.. I've lost count of the number of times I've had to ask people for more info on something... sometimes as much as around 10 posts before you get the info that should have been in the first post asking for help.. it's like pulling teeth, LOL. And yeah, you do get mightily pissed off sometimes and think why am I bothering... in a few cases that's excactly what I've done.. unsubscribed from the thread and let them get on with it!! :)

Not stewarty though, it was concise and to the point.. the very fact that he's asking about black and white suggests that he does have the equipment needed for backups to work, and just asks his question.. good job stewarty :)

One thing to add though, you good quality discs for your backups ok.. like taiyo yuden, verbatim or maxell (made in Japan)... and most of the time ritek too. if not you could have problems with them a bit later if you use inferior media.

good luck with it
