I can easily download music from the internet to my PC. Then I can easily burn a CD but that CD will only play on my computer. It will not play in my vehicle or home system. This should be an easy fix . What do I do??? Please help

I have tried 3 different ones with the same result. Windows media, musicmatch jukebox and acoustic burner. I am converting my files and the discs are not playing or even being recognized!

Use Nero. It is by far the best app and has a help guide to assist you with any problems you have.

Also make sure you are making an Audio CD and not an MP3 CD. Some systems can't read MP3 CD's.

Windows media player does not burn mp3 disc. If windows media player will not burn it correctly then it is more than likly the discs you are using.

I have always used to cd-r's but u might want to try that. Some cd-players might not read the cd-rw format.

@ Xpress1 Open your musicmatch player (Version 10) I'm using plus. It couldn't be easier. Line up your songs in the Current Playlist when you have what you want click on BURN. A new window opens and shows your list and how much space it takes up. You will have to delete some if too large. Click on TOOLS in that window. Select your drive and burn mode to write (You may have done a test and nothing was written) In the Settings option, still under TOOLS, open window and under general tab Choose CD-r and Audio 80min CD, under the burn tab select drive again and burn mode "Write", in audio tab make sure all supported files are checked.Click OK and exit the window.Make sure the CD-r is in the correct drive and click burn. You should have a disk that will play anywhere. Just make sure to let MM finalize the disk, all this is done automatically. You only have to set the parameters once. Good luck.

What kind of music are you downloading from the internet. Is it a pay per tune like "Itunes" or something similar? OR are they from a "friend" on a P2P network? There may be some DRM problems. I don't know if there are restrictions placed on the "payed-for" downloaded material that won't allow it to be played BUT on your PC. Find an old bought CD and rip the files to mp3s with MusicMatch and place them in the playlist and do above and burn a CD-R and try it in you players. If that works then you know it's the tunes you downloaded that are the problem. Obviously you are burning something to CD since it plays in your PC. Can't think of anything else. Let us know

If you payed for the tunes you're trying to burn, then you may have to use THEIR program to burn a CD-R so they have control (DRM) over what else is done with the music. Just a thought.
