after pressing x at sm screen it goes back to normal ps2 manager. using sm2

rebuilding now

Genji is a weird game. The NTSC version is 3.90GB's, the PAL version is DVD-9. You know how to rebuild Liquidus, you may want to try Expert, it's supposed to work real well. I know you use quality media, so that's not it. Other than that you may want to try Zone Loader or DVD Loader.

Here's how to use it.. it might not work for all games though.

Open the program.

1. Select the Shrinker_ps2_psp_CdDvd5_iso.epi on the plugins drop down list.
2. Select the iso you want to rebuild.
3. Click extract LBA.
4. Click extract file and wait for it to finish.
5. Click rebuild file and wait for it to finish.
6. Click rebuild LBA.
7. Burn the new iso with Nero or DVD Decrypter as usual.

Yep, I can confirm that genie's expert shrinker tool works fine with the PAL version of Genji, shrinks it from 7GB+ to around 3.9GB.. works fine!! :)

yeah sm 2.0 wont boot it just tryied for my bro and no good ive got promo PAL but its not a dvd 9 weird but there you go

I'd just brought this game along with Kasai from BB.
I can save when playing Kasai but not genji? It keeps saying " no memory card...need 256KB" Im using the same memory card for Genji that I used wth Kasai. I have 2 sony 8mb and 2 16MB( 10MB/12MB free) cards... none won't save for genji but for Kasai. Is it possible that I have a "bad" disc? my ps2 is not modded, just regular ps2. I havent had this problem before.

it worked for Kasai...plus the other games i'd tried...(rez, ddr, freq, rygar... and some others) so it's not the cards. it's no biggie. i'm going back to BB and get a replacement and mabye a new card. theres a good chance i brought a lemon. plus i have read that in some cases, some games will only take new/non-used MC.
