For anyone who just bought Maxell 8x DVD+Rs (Ritek-R02) from futureshop (canada) dont burn them at 8x burn them at 4x or they wont work...

i solved my problem with ape escape by burning it at 4x...

What was you're problem? i straight burned it, burnt it at 4x, and it says no a ps2 disk in swap magic...does it need to be rebuilt?

Downloaded it,it was about 2gb. Worked fine when I burnt onto 8x Verbatim at 4x worked fine with Swap Magic.

Try a re-build if it wont work.

THE GAME DOES NOT NEED REBUILDING!! it turns out that the dvds i got work best when burnt at 4x (maxel Ritek-RO2's), so the first time the game didnt work, but the secodn time i burned it, it worked perfectly, if u burned it at 4x try burning it at 8x and if u burned it at 8x try burning it at 4x... thats all i can say to help, it worked the second time, so the game doesnt ahve a problem its the burner/media ppl are using..

thats odd, i never rebuilt it, burned at 4x and at 2x (my burner only goes up to 4x)...i tihnk its the media i got though..i'm buying some more here in the next few days...i'm using these sony ones i have right now.

Always burn onto high quality media at half the maximum speed..
