When I'm burning a DVD to the DVD+R disc, I usually go at about 2X for good quality. Will it make any difference in quality if the READ speed is set to MAX when I am ripping the DVD to my Hard Drive? Thanks!

ive never had any problems with read speed. just click read and let it go.

When ripping to hdd, speed isn't a concern. It's during the burn process that speed can be a concern. Faster than 4x-8x can sometimes cause errors during the burn.
