I've got a backed up copy of the game, it boots up fine using swap magic 2.0, but then it starts skipping at the intro-movie when it's done, it's just stuck at a loading screen.

I already know the problem is not with the dvd-media I use, because they usually work extremely well with my pstwo.

about rebuilding the game.. well, it's only 2.30 gb big, so I don't think that's the problem either..

anyone that might have an idea how to fix it ?

hmm maybe try burning at a slower speed what are you using to burn??

What's the Media ID of the discs you're using? Try using Zone Loader or DVD Loader.

A.The Media ID of a DVD is the true measure of it's quality. It contains prerecorded info about the disc's manufacturer. The quality of the disc will vary depending on the media code. The media code isn't visible on the disc or the packaging. To check the media ID, Open DVD Decrypter, insert your disc, and check what it says under Media ID or Manufacturer ID. I burned the game at the lowest possible speed x1, and I also tried using dvdloader to update the TOC size, it didn't seem to have any effect either.

mabye it's just the disc image that faulty, because usually I can get my games to work by using dvdloader if there's any problems with SM2.0

Try Zone Loader. What's the Media ID of those discs? It's important, that's why I ask.

could it be that he needs the newest version of Swap Magic?? cause well it boots....but skips...so probably not...just a suggestion

the Manufacturer ID is 'TTG02', but as I wrote above my other backed up games work fine with the media except this one :)

That doesn't necessarily mean much. I've been told by some Burning guru's that TDK's blow. The high end ones don't hold a candle to Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim. Get some from http://www.supermediastore.com I've replied to a lot of threads recently where TDK's were the cause of boot failures/skips. Get some better media.
