hello,

Ive got some taiyo yuden dvd-r 8x, but after burning games at 4x,( are working in the ps2 (i still get that red screen). Original games and CD games are fine, but it just doesnt work when i make backup's.

is book type very important? because i havent been chaning that.

(p.s - attempted to copy nauruto and tekken5, got an infinity 1.39 chip, slimline console, and other copied games ARE working in the console *the type that are mass copied overseas, not blue down the bottom but goldish*...used DVD decrypter Read > Write method.)

basically i think everything has been done correctly but it doenst work still...maybe booktype is the only thing left that may be preventing it from working...

Yeah ive only tried nauruto...juz remembered i tried tekken but that was with different media.

So ive only tried nauruto with the taiyo yuden type

Tekken should work fine.
Say you tried almost everything, but i have no idea what that
means so it is hard to give an answer. You may have already tried it.
Like switching media, Updating your burners firmware, making sure you do not have any programs running in the backround like antivirus, and not using the PC at all while burning. Setting the burn speed to 1X just to see if that worked.
If it is -R media then don't worry about booktyping, that is only for +R media.
