All rippers hangup at 5%. What's wrong?

Am a newbee. Have tried to rip "Chicken Run" when all of my rippers (cladDVD,vStrip, SmartRipper, and DVD Decrypter) hang up on the last VOB of the movie. All the other files rip fine. What am I doing wrong and how do I rip the file?

Which Windows ? do you have ASPI installed ? check for scratches on the DVD Movie.

Yeah, it does sound like a problem with the DVD, not the software.

Try ripping another movie and see if it also hangs...

Am using Windows XP and have ripped a couple of movies so far with no prolems. Will rent another copy elswhere and will let you guys know if it helped. Thanks muchly for the help.
