I tried using Ease Audio Converter 2.6 to convert a few files from ape audio format to windows media loseless format but the utility keeps crashing on me. Does anyone have any experience in this conversion ? may be a different tool / utility ?
Why would you have ape as a format to ebing with... Also if you want the audio to play on your iPod you may want to convert it to AAC instead of windows lossless (I assume iPod because this is an iPod forum).
I've never heard of Windows Media Lossless before but aac seems to be about the best you can do for the file size. If you have Nero that can convert it. Thanks for the reply . I am looking to convert my ape files to a lossless format ( yet compacted and hence i require a trans-coder from ape to another lossless format). Windows lossless format ( like wm9 etc) are easier to play on the media centre !!
