I get a Bad Pool Header error everytime i try to install avid express pro hd. I would never do it before, but i switched to a sata hdd. Now everytime i install when the puter restarts i get this error. I use to think it had something to do with alcohol 120%. But uninstalled and still get same error. Im lost as to what is causing this.

BPH errors are from bad devices, or bad device drivers.

alright i have tried a new drive and it is still the same. The problem i think lies in the Sata Drive controllers. I have even updated the driver. It will work when the sata drive is disconnected but when it is connected it wont, any more suggestions?

To test either your motherboard or drive yourself requires more hardware. You can try another SATA drive on your current board, see if you get that same error. You'll have to test the drive in a different computer to see if it works. Bit of a pain..., or you could try contacting support for either the mobo/drive and see what they say.
