For the most part, yes they are clear. In fact, most uploaders take pride in the quality of their rip and so will have found all the settings that make their upload as good as possible with a little loss of quality as possible. One thing to guage it by is the number of times it's been downloaded. A crappy movie will get seen for what it is and no one will download it.
do you have bittorrent i just downloaded it and bit lord and started to d/l, and it was super slow i have cable and dont understade the hole porting thing ,sounds like your opening the door for major viruses to come in when ever can you help Inescapbl
When you open a port on your router (I'm assuming you have a router) yes, you do allow for things to transfer in on that one port. But ONLY that port. All the others are closed. So out of the thousands of ports you have available on your computer, one is open for torrenting. Further, if you're using a router, it works as a hardware firewall and blocks hacking attempts. Also, you should be running your antivirus in the background anyway while you're downloading.
And if you're paranoid that someone's going to hack your system...change the port number you use once in a while.
And as for good files to d/l....are you talking about quality of them? Well that's a whole new discussion :) Read around the forum a bit about video compression and quality types and you'll learn quite a bit. Trust me :) Just takes a little time. As for where I look and what I'm looking for...I'm not sure what you're asking me.
