I've made a backup of my GT4 (PAL Version) which is a DVD Double Layer. I've used DVD Decripter, Apache 3, GT4 DVD5 ripkit v1.02, Sony CD/DVD Gen, IML2ISO.exe and then I've burnt it in a Sony DVD+R 1X speed.
I've a PSTwo and a Matrix Infinity v1.68. It launches the DVD+R, and I can select the language game and save the game, but the problem seems to come when it tries to launch the Intro Video. The screen goes black and it remains there... I can't pass this situation and access the Main Menu.
To make the backup I have downsampled most of the videos (not the opening.pss) and then rebuild the GT4L1.VOL to fit in a DVD+R. Before creating the ISO image I've applied the patch to SCES_517.19 using the GT4 DVD5 ripkit v1.02.
The problem seems to be that it doesn't find the GT4L1.VOL to launch the video.
I would like to know if anyone has made a backup of this game that works, has had a similar problem or if I had to relink any file of the ISO to launch my backup.
Thanks for all.

Some directions say you have to boot the original gt4 disc, turn off the intro vid, and save. Then boot the backup.

Pioneer 107, ritek g05

If I turn off the intro video, the problem repeats while trying to play all the other videos, located in the GT4L1.VOL, during the game play.
I think the problem is caused because the GT4L1.VOL file is in the DVD5, but it can't be found by the game because in the original game (DVD9)it is in the second layer.
Is there any possibilty to relink the GT4L1.VOL file properly?? How should I do it?? Should this be done by the GT4 DVD5 ripkit v1.02 patch function??
