DVD Player hangs on second DVD-R Title

Hi,

I'm ripping a movie with DvdDecrypter, then process it with DVDToolbox (it lets you split a movie into 2 DVD-R and displays a "please insert disc 2" screen at the end of the first disc). Now, the movie itself is the first title on the DVD-R and this "insert disc" screen is the second title. However, my DVD Player hangs at the end of the movie. The DVD spins up and down as the player seems to look for the second title but apparently it can't find it. 1 time out of 10 it eventually finds it after 2 minutes or so.

I've tried different burning apps (knowing the probs with Nero). I'm also using decent DVD-R media (well at least I think so), I use Verbatim DVD-R Generals. The Player is a Sony and definitely DVD-R compatible. I'm using a Pioneer A04 under WinXP.

By the way, when I ripped a complete DVD with menus and everything, using DvdXCopy, I couldn't even get past the menu. As soon as there's a title change, the player hangs.

Any suggestions?

Download DVD2one and you can take either DVD-5 or DVD-9 to a single DVD-R.
No menus but DVD2one now does Episode DVD's.

Only a sugestion !: )-~

Pioneer a04/104 is a DVD-RW drive and does take the general DVD-R format
