When I boot my backup games on my V14 Slimline, under the Playstation2 logo there is small writing that I think says "6.1 Workroom"

Anyone have any clues? Thanks.

Can you post a pic of the boot logo? I've never heard of Workstation or any other modchip or OS by that name. That's just too vague to reach any conclusion. What other details can you give? Do games boot right up when you insert them, or do you have to hit reset to boot them? Give as much info as possible.

Yes, when I insert the game and press reset it boots immediately, but I can also load it from the intro screen. I tried booting from browser once but it froze. Also, I could put my PS2 on sleep mode by holding resent for 2-3 seconds (how I got DNAS network config to work). I'll try to get a pic of it soon.

That doesn't really help much. I meant a pic of the chip. When you turn on your PS2, does it say anything like Matrix or Toxic?

Thanks anyways guys, it was more just outta curiosity. I don't really care, since it plays all backups and I can play online after patching.
