I recently switched my DVD backup/compression software from DVD2OneX over to DVDRemaster. I did this because I am in the process of shopping for a new HDTV and I want better compression quality on my backup DVDs. Since DVDRemaster uses CCE encoding I figured that it would give me better quality backups.
However, I just backed up a copy of a DVD as a test, and I find that I am having audio sync problems w/ DVDRemaster. Everytime a character speaks, the dialogue is just a second or so off. When I compressed, I chose the DownSize encoding option and the Best (slowest) compression rate so as to get the best quality compression possible.
Does anyone know how I can resolve this issue? I'd like to continue using CCE compression, but if this problem continues, it looks like I'll have to stick with DVD2OneX's Constant Compression rate, which is still good on my TV now, but perhaps wont be on my new set.
All I can say is, if you have CCE already why don't you get DVDRebuilder Pro! It works great with CCE and you won't get any snyc problems like you're having. Most members that do use DVDRebuilder Pro agree that's it's the best quality program out there and I agree, too! I never had a bad compression with DVDRebuilder Pro and have always had great quality ...... more bang for my buck!

errrrrr....... where in thread did you mention that you would use DVD-RB if you had a PC????? you don't even mention DVD-RB!!!! and you don't even mention that you have a MAC! I should be a swammie and read your mind????? Better yet, maybe I should do a Mind-Meld like they do in Star Trek and then I can understand your gratefulness on someones reply to your request for help! Sorry for trying!
