the sound on my pc has suddenly gone off completely, ive checked all the leads but i cant fibd anything is there anything i can do to see where the problem is. when i put the headphones in it crackles as its going in if you know what i mean. im stumped

check in device manager for an exclamation mark. try uninstalling the sound card in device manager & restart windows to let it find & load the driver

i had that problem and i downloaded a new sound driver and installed it after restarting my computer the sound worked perfectly.
