Alright. I have been reading almost everything about rebuilding games so they can fit on a dvd-5 like God Of War for people using Swap Magic. Well, i have a Crystal Chip 1.1 and I wanted to know if i have to rebuild ps2 games that are above 4.7gb ( like GOW)to fit onto the 4.7gb disc. I have been looking all over to find my answer but can't find it. I am a noob looking for answers. Please Help!

No. If you have a Dual Layer Burner and quality Dual Layer media, there's no need to shrink your iso to DVD-5. The CC 1.1 supports DVD-9 backups. I have a Matrix Infinity and burn my Dual Layer games to Verbatim DVD+R DL media. They all play perfectly. I booktype them to DVD-ROM.

No prob. One of the perks of a good modchip is it eliminates the need to downzise. Downsizing big games like Xenosaga or GOW is a pain in the arse you and I needn't endure because we have quality modchips. Cheers!
