Desperate for Nokia 6101 B to be unlocked!!!

Hi, I need to unlock my Mom's phone. It is a Nokia 6101 B. The front of the phone has the T Mobile emblem but I found a vodafone SIM card in it. The guy at the shop said he unlocked it but he DIDN'T!!!

The phone was bought in America (Texas) but was "supposedly" unlocked here in England by the man at the shop. Can someone, ANYONE please help me!! Thank you!! Tiffany

Unfortunately it did not work. I did it twice and I'm scared to do it again. Is my only option to go to the shop now and have it professionally unlocked? Thank you for the help though!!

It said something pretty clear cut like: "SIM restricted." I can't remember exactly if that is what it said but I don't want to try the code again. If if did not say "SIM restricted" it was pretty close to that. Is there anything else I can do, or is it back to the shop? Hey, thanks for all the help.

If you see "phone restrictions on" again, it's not going to unlock with codes.

Ok thanks. I'm not gonna mess with the phone anymore. It's my Mom's and she'll be pissed if I ruin it. If a pay someone at a phone shop will they be able to unlock it do you think?? Or is it a lost cause??

Gave the phone back to my mom. She can deal with it now. I am no phone genius. Screw it but thanks anyways.
