can anybody help
i was using win 98se for years but had to upgrade to win xp pro sp2 and now none of my psp programmes work i cant get anyrhing to download
the programmes im using are bitlord bit tornado lime wire pro all these programmes worked before on win 98se except bitlord
because cant be run on win 98se
i make sure windows xp fire wall is turned off and i dont have any other firewalls on my com
ive read somwhere thar i have to open ports but dont know how to do so as i didnt open any ports on win 98se
im using talk talk broadband 1 meg i use too get 110 kbs per secnow 0
im not using a router i just plug my adsl modem into my usb socket and it connects
im stuck i dont know what elses to do i had to upgrade for certain reasons ie certain programmes for my psp phone ipodnano wont work on win 98se and ive been hearing a lot about bitloard and wanted to give it a tryso if someone could tell me how to find out what ports im using and how to open them all i can find is how to open them through a router what i dont use

no matter what i try i cantget any thing to start to download onmy com the programmes that wont work are bitlord limewire pro azereus bit tornado how can i find out if my isp are blocking these programmes my isp im using is talk talk ime in englandim not using a router
ime now running two os at moment win 98se and xp pro sp2and none of the programmes work on any of the os
in lime wire my ports are set to 6346 ime sure there set correct
even in bit tornado the light goes green but nothing happens to the speed it stays at o
its doing me head in as before i upgaded my pc to xp all these programmes worked fineime stuck on what to do next
when people say open your ports the ports i opened where the ports in the programmes i didnt do any thing to try and open ports in my os wouldnt know how it can be done or if it could be done
my firewall os zonealarm and i have it turned off as it worked before with it turnded off
