I am trying to back up Remember The Titans and when I rip the movie Vob's, they contain no audio. This is even before I strip the subtitles and menus, the vob files just have no audio. I am wondering if the audio is in a separate file or a different angle. I would really appreciate someone letting me know how to back this movie up with the coresponding audio. thank you

ok, i appologize, i ripped Remember the Titans (only the highlighted movie files)with DVD decryptor which i have done with many other dvds. i then used DVD2one, i selected the English audio, angle 1, and no subtitles. i then burned the files with nero. After i realized that there was no audio, i played the vob's from the original rip (DVDdecryptor) with PowerDVD and they contained no sound. So i feel that the problem is with the ripping method. i could really use some advice, thank you very much

Okay , now we're getting somewhere.

I know nearly everyone on afterdawn use DVD Decrypter but when I first got my burner I was told to get Smartripper 2.41 (which is free d/l) & I've only had 2 DVD's that it couldnt rip.
Those films were 'Long Good Friday' and 'American Werewolf in London'

Try Smartripper mate , see how u get on.

P.S. That was 2 out of about 60-70 DVD's that failed to rip.
I consider that to be a damn fine success rate really. Although we like 100%
