Online Backup - DNA Patching..Please help !

Hello. I have a quick question. In order to play a backup game online, you need to patch it with a specific DNA code. My question is:

A DNA code is something of this sort
(Size = 5,600,176 bytes)
Disc ID = XX XX 01 30 AC

The last 6 digits/letters are a must and the first 4 can be made up. Supposedly if two people have the same first 4 digits/letters , would that ban me or him/her from the servers? Please, reply as this is what is the only reason why I'm not going for the Infnity because the lack of auto DNA patching.

It could happen, but it's not likely. When the DNA's are patched, the game servers have no way of knowing if the game is an original or not. Most servers aren't going to bother to ban people with the same ID, because it is possible they'd have the same ID. Once in awhile you may have to repatch the backup, but it's rare.

Hey, thanks a lot for the reply. What about the Crystal Chip auto DNA patching. Is it possible for the hacked firmware to "possibly" patch the disc with the same DNA ID as another persons, or is it always a DNA code that isn't in use. Please, reply.

I don't exactly know how the auto DNA patching changes with the Crystal Chip. With an original game, I believe the first 4 characters of the ID change each time you go on. If that's the case, then I'd guess the CC patches it with a different DNA ID each time you go online with your backup. I'm not positive about that, and either way it doesn't matter. The auto DNA patching for the CC does work, knowing exactly how it works isn't important.
