My dvd recorder will not read splintercell chaos theory or call of duty 2. It just keeps flashing and nothing is being read. I have an emprex 16x dvd recorder. I have copied games before and some have worked. Any help will be greatly appreciated, regards Kieran

It's probably just scratched or dirty. What program did you use to try to rip the iso to your HD? I use Alcohol 120% to rip my scratched backups. DVD Decrypter is picky with scratched originals. It may take awhile to finish, but it will. You can abort the process at any time.

Alcohol 120%: http://www.free-downloads.net/programs/Alcohol_120_

88. Q. How do I burn PS2 DVD games with Alcohol 120%?
A. Ripping the game to your Hard Drive:
1. Insert your disc.
2. Open Alcohol 120%.
3. Click Image Making Wizard.
4. Check Ignore read errors, select your recorder, leave the never seperate box alone.
5. Click Next. Select a destination for the game. Click Start.
Once the process is complete, you'll get an mds and an mdf file. Click finish, if necessary.

Burning the game to DVD:
1. Insert your blank disc.
2. Right click the mdf file.
3. Select Image Burning Wizard.
4. Select your recorder, set the write speed to 4x.
5. Click next.
