everytime i try to copy Shadow hearts covenant to a disk it always gets to 47 percent and says that there is an I/O error why is this happening?

do u get this error while copying it onto the hard disk?

if yes, then use Alcohol 120.

if u get it while copying it on a DVD-R. make sure ur dvd-writer has latest firmware.and get ur dvd-writer checked by a pro, it might need sum repair

ok well i tried madden 05 and it worked i completed but when i put it in the ps2 it comes up to the browse screen. whats wrong?

usually you get an I/O error or something if your disc (original) has a scratch or smudge on it that prevents the burner from reading it past a certain point.
an I/O error is read error.
Try cleaning the disc and checking it for scratches

as far as madden it may need patching or rebuilding. Do a search here on that game title. EA Sports games give many people problems.
Also make sure you are using quality media to burn these games to
or you will have very little luck.
