rl i might had listened to you had it not been working on my desktop. i mean it worked on my other computer so logically i assumed it wasnt the cord cause i didnt think that the cord was gonna be selective. Like i dont think that was dumb of me, ya kno? If you were in my place would u initially have suspected it to be the cord if it was working on your desktop. Now that its fix i found out that my coded arms doesnt work lol.. im not even gonna bother posting, you guys are prolly sick of me

yea download Windows Service Pack 2 from windows update site and you should be good to go.

[bold] i almost have the same problem as joeva but my computer is telling me that the usb device has mulfunctioned.does that mean that my psp is screwed up ? or is it somethin else ?

Yea that's what mine had said. Try some of the things I did and see if it that helps.
If you are going to format your card i would reccomend that you make a back up of everything first.
