Hey all,
Here's the thing, I don't live in the U.S. and things in Argentina come quite more expensive than there. So like an US$100 dollar card for anyone in the states is just 100 bucks... In Argentina the value of the money is 3 to a dollar. So to me, that same card costs me 300. Although some say the coin value compensates, it doesn't. To me its like 300 dollars worth of card.... just needed to get that out...
Anyway.. I've been looking all over the place for a Radeon 9600Pro 256Mb, but it looks like the card is out of production and the ramaining few down here are sold for about US$140. The original price I saw was US$93, which was way more in range... A nice little alternative I've been finding for it, has been the XFX GeForce 6200 256Mb. Problem is I forgot to ask the dealer what memory interface it has, since XFX 6200 offers both 64-bit and 128-bit. I'm kinda getting sick and tired of this card-hunt so I'm willing to slack up a little. What's the difference in performance of the 64-bit and the 128-bit? Will I be losing alot? Normally the 64-bit is worse, and i've been trying to find out how worse, but this nVidea specs site showed me what I think is otherwise: http://www.nvidia.com/page/geforce6200_agp.html

Can anyone tell me what's the difference, if it's just a over-consumist thing to always get the things with the prettiest numbers or is there really an amazing difference between the two?
Thanks In Adavance

When evolution selects its agents, it does so at a cost, makes demands in exchange for singularity, and you may be asked to do something against your very nature. This force, evolution, is not sentimental. Like the Earth itself, it knows only the hard facts of life's struggle with death. All you can do is hope and trust that when you have served its needs faithfully, there may still remain some glimmer of the life you once knew.
