I have a problem with the backup of Torino 2006 Winter Olympic Games. I placed it in mij PC DVD player and he reads the disk, but when I open dvddecrypter he says NO DVD DISK. Does someone know what to do? I also checked an other PC, but no outcome.

Greetings from the Netherlands

Torino 2006 is a CD based game. Look at the read side of the disc - it should be blue.

I would first ask how you would play it? I have Swap Magic 3.6 and I just used a generic CD duplicating program - just select "make exact copy" or the like. Then I just used Swap Magic 3.6 CD disc. If you are using a chip mod - I am not sure if this will work for you - but worth a try!

why don't you read the the bold threads (stickies ) at the top.

straight from tokijin's FAQ

14. Q. How do I burn PS2 CD-ROM based games?
A. Use Alcohol 120%.
Ripping the game to your Hard Drive:
1. Open Alcohol 120%.
2. Insert the disk you wish to create the image from in your CD-ROM drive. Click image making wizard.
3. Set the read speed to 1x, check ignore read errors, fast skip error blocks, leave the write method alone, select your recorder, set the write speed to 4x, and set the datatype to PS2.
4. Click next.

Burning the game to CD-R:
1. Once the image is created you'll have an mdf and an mds file. Click finish if necessary.
2. Right click the mdf file and go to image burning wizard. Set the write speed to 4x, leave the write method alone, set the data type to PS2, and select your recorder, click next.

Good point! But FransN was unaware that it was a CD he/she was trying to dupe. Plus - if everyone always read the stickies first - there would be no need for the forums! Lol!
