The modem is connected to an 8 port switch.

There are four pc's connected to the switch.

are running on windows XP pro edition.

I am using Azerus as bittorent client and getting the nat error.

I dont know how to forward ports in windows 2003 server.

i dont find anywhere how to forward ports in the Ecom modem

nb: am running norton coorporate edition on my pc

ok.....

1. Make sure ur ports are open in the router. Probably most of ur problems. Go here for help:

~*~ http://www.portforward.com/
~*~ http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/73686
~*~ http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/223583

2. Here's how to open ports through windows firewall:

~*~ http://forums.afterdawn.com/thread_view.cfm/9/263334

...look for my name in the thread and follow the steps.

For ur Nat test, dont trust azureus', use this:

~*~ https://www.grc.com/x/portprobe=

...after = put in ur port # ur using and leave client on when running this test. Needs to come back as "open!".

3. Ur Norton shouldnt cause a problem unless it has a personal firewall built in, in wich case u would need to forward those aswell.

4. Make sure everything is open, use fresh ports between 50000-60000, cap ur u/l and d/l speeds according to ur connection, d/l healthy torrents and try and get on a private site.

Hope this helps ya ;-D

Edit: wow!, sry about that, it looks like I was a little trigger happy, I hit them by mistake ;-D

No sig for u!.
