Im going to purchase a laptop and was wondering what type of video cards do they use. Meaning are they the same video cards as computers. MY desktop has a gefore6600 video card could that be used on a laptop even tho it is in my desktop not saying im going to do that. If im looking to buy a laptop and drop a video card into it do I need a specific type of video card because it is a laptop not a desktop?

laptops generaly have intergrated video on there motherboard and it is not upgradable your normal PC card will not fit in your laptop
