Hello. This is probably a noob question, but it is something I haven't ever come across. I am trying to copy a DVD that has the video and PC software/flash intro on it. In other words, it is a DVD-9 which you can watch the video from the DVD player or computer, but it has a flash type menu on the computer instead of the DVD title. How can one copy everything, because CloneDVD2 asks for the directory which holds the VIDEO_TS files. Anyone know what I can do?

Try using DVD Decrypter in ISO read mode then open your MDS file and do ISO write mode. Here is a guide

This method should give a 1.1 copy of your original. Make sure you burn your disk at 2.4x speed. Also, be sure your player will accept the +R media format. You can check your players compatibility here

If your drive is capable then bitset/booktype your dl to -R for better compatibility with all players.

My burner is the DVD+-RW +R DL Sony DRU-710A. My home entertainment DVD player is also a Sony, and plays the +R DL discs perfectly. I will try what you said... thanks for your help and if I have any trouble I will leave another message.

Sorry to bother again, it worked as far as creating the image for the most part.... except it said "On the fly IFO/BUP patching failed" for a few files (the VTS_07_x.xxx files are visible in My Computer, but the VTS_08_x.xxx are not) Does this mean anything? They are still all included in the ISO file.

Also, I normally use AnyDVD... this was enabled while I used DVDecrypter... would that have any effect, should I try it again with it disabled?

ok i tried it after disabling AnyDVD and I didn't get the errors. Are there any differences in copy protection removal between AnyDVD and DVD Decrypter
