travalon,

My idol, guy who turned me onto VobBlanker, and thanks again, if I never thanked you.

Are you saying you had AnyDVD and DVD43 running in background at the same time while you were ripping, I'm sure you did not mean that? If so, that could be the problem, but I am going to believe you didn't.

I did not run it through VOBBlanker, but rather Shrink then Decrypter, and no problems.

Sorry not much help,

Rich

This is the first movie to start the "Holy Hell, I can't copy" era.

So all you need is DVD Decrypter and Shrink for this movie.

Or DVD 43, and Shrink and/or Decrypter.

You don't need Anydvd

STYGUY you're welcom.

no not both at the same time. any dvd has a feature that turns off DVD43 when it is initiated.
thanks for the replies.
I defragged and tried again with decrypter and AnyDVD and was victorious. it's amazing what an ordly hdd will do for ya.

using AnyDVD with DVD Decrypter set up DVD Decrypter this way guys

To use DVD Decrypter in conjunction with AnyDVD as stated per Olli ->OF SLYSOFT AND CloneDVD

Proceed to the DVD Decrypter Opening Page - Tools - Settings

I/O Tab - Click on "Elby CDIO-Elaborate Bytes"

General Tab - un-check "Check For Structure Protection"

Look people, you don't need vobblanker or AnyDVD for any movie currently.

You just Need DVDFab with DVD 43 or AnyDVD turned off.

@travalon,

I do not undertand your error. Try using DVD Decrypter version 3.5.4.0 by itself. The default settings are enough for this movie.

Do you want to not rip one of the aspect ratios??? If you want only the Widescreen version let me know. I can create some IFOs for you and you will not have to Rip VTS_05 or VTS_06, so you will not have to run it through VobBlanker. The whole DVD will be about 3.5GB if you only want the Widescreen version.

Glad to hear it worked. Yeah, it is a good idea to defrag every week or two when you use your HDD a lot.
