I've used SR to rip the movie. I now try to create a VCD file. I select the file vts_01. However, after I create the movie, I find it started recording about 2 minutes into the movie. What happened to the first 2 minutes and how can I make sure I get the whole thing?

VCD is an inferior format really.
Have you considered buying a DVD burner (if you don't already have one,if you do though - why would you be burning a VCD instead of a DVD-R/DVD+R).
