Yes I know what I am doing, and I have burned 25 Ps2 games flawlessly, but my question is I have a NTSC PS2 and when i insert swap magic let it load up put in a pal game(here ill use the example of TORINO 2006), it load fine but a little bit of the image is chopped off and i can not adjust it and its kind of annoying because i cant see the meter down at the bottom because at the top there is this little black space and it looks like it pushed the image down. Yes, I have tried changing video mode to PAL that just makes the picture go wack, and I have tried Normal, and I have tried NTSC but it always has that little part pushed down and I dont know why. Any Help is appreciated, Thank you

You might want to try patching the image on your computer using the program at this site: http://www.geocities.com/jayteemaster2003/ps2_ntsc2pal_yfix_source.zip It has a Y-fix option so it will try to center the image on your tv. Just follow the readme file with the software and after you create the new image, boot it normally as if it were a standard NTSC game. I hope this helps.

off topic question but couldn't find another forum that had it, how do you get rid of that tag under my name of newbie I am not. I no a hell of alot about burning game CPU's PS2s and other media. I freaking built my own computer but that is for downloading and friends and family that come over.

69. Q. I'm a newbie? I've done this for years, why does my rating say I'm a noob?
A. Okay this doesn't get asked often, I just thought I'd clear it up anyway. Your ranking is based on number of posts. 25=Junior Member, 100=Member, 500=Senior Member, 2500=Afterdawn Addict. Now don't get any ideas in your head about posting monosyllabic messages to become an AD addict. You'll be banned long before you do. Anybody who's been around long enough to be an AD addict knows what they're talking about and should be given respect. Of course since it's post based some members will be more valuable than others. I.E. a noob could be more knowledgeable than a senior member. Just because someone is a Senior Member doesn't mean they're all knowing. Everybody was a noob at some point. Hell I've only been around these forums for four months or so.

no offense but burning 25 PS2 games and building a PC doesn't make you an expert by any means and using that as a the 'proof' leaves me in doubt myself. seams to be more of an ego issue then anything else.

i call it like i see it. I've burnt more backup copies of game disks then 50 of the average Joe's ever will, modded a few hundred consoles and built/programmed/repaired more PC/Servers then i ever care to recollect again but i am no expert by any means of the word.
now an Apache helicopter (both A and D model), I'm the best there is, i will proudly call myself an expert in the repair of all armament, avionics, electronics and instruments on this bird.

That really kool KC but your job building planes has nothing to do with building a PS2 or PC and you sitting there saying it does is just dumb...Yeah the electrical work may help but it's not like im 10 years old im about 2.5 times that age and i have a job so I can't sit down and just burn burn burn all day long because I would get fired. So think about other people and dont just say o I do this and this and this..sounds to me like you have the ego issue, bragging about building planes

in my country rotor craft are not planes, fixed wings are planes and troubleshooting and repairing of the systems is not building. sorry that it lost something in the interpretation to your newbie status.
