I'd like to describe the problems I'm having with the new LG DVD drive that I bought. It's an LG GSA-4167B. It's been highly recommended, but I can't seem to get it to work. I checked the device manager, and it says that the drive is fine.
I'm pretty sure I set it up as a slave, as I have a Panasonic DVD drive too.
In Nero, I can't even see the drive when I want to burn mpg.
I only see the Panasonic drive.
I'm wondering what could be done to resolve this, that I haven't already tried.
I'm not a hardware person, but I can do a little bit. Not sure what else to try.
