Dear Gentlemen: I was happy using DVD Shrink 3.2 and then DVD Decrypter to copy my DVD Movies. I never had a problem using those 2 programs. Now, with new movies like The Fog and The Legen of Zorro I was not able to. I am getting an error message from DVD Shrink: "Invalid DVD navigation structure". What should I do? Is there is a new vertion of DVD Shrink? Should I give up these 2 programs an use something else?
Thanks,
RafaelV1

Yep, it is time to move on to AnyDVD, which keeps current with new encryptions, DVD Decrypter, no longer is supported.

Another free option that's still updated is dvdfab decrypter. It will handle these movies. It's a ripper like decrypter. Rip the files w/ fab decrypter then process thru shrink as usual. You can download it here:http://dvdidle.com/free.htm

You're welcome!
Fab decrypter is still updated pretty fast at this point. Yes AnyDVD is updated more but for now fab decrypter is doing the job for those who still want the free options. In fact both progs in recent updates have been addressing issues shrink has with the newer movies using either prog.

For more info on how to rip and backup any new release dvds (including The Fog, Legend of Zorro, Just Like Heaven, The Cave, etc.) with DVDFAB Decrypter and VobBlanker 2.1.0.0, try to use this guide here http://www.k-probe.com/backup-newly-release-DVD-DVDFAB-Decrypter-...
Basically, all you need to do is change the title/name of movie to the movie/name you're trying to rip and backup, then follow the guide carefully and you should be fine. If you don't know what to "blank out" when you're at VobBlanker 2.1.0.0, then just set your "input folder, output folder and hit PROCESS", that's it.
Best of lucks and happy burning!!

Go back and look at the reply by alkohol and the link to his guide. Download VobBlanker and use it on these movies. The method in his guide works. If you are having playback problems then ensure that the fw on your burner is up to date, the media you are using is good and that you are not burning too fast.
