I have a swap magic 3.6 dvd disc and i need to make a backup onto a taiyo yuden. The problem is that when i try to make an image with dvd decrypter it wont let me.... is there something special i need to do to burn a copy?

First of all when you open DVD Decrypter go to the toolbar click on mode then iso then read (R), then specify a directory and then click on the button to start your back up. Now the disc is 4.6 gbs in size so it might need to be rebuilt. I dont know try it out. But also making a copy of a boot disc is redundant because with out the original boot disc the copied boot disc cant boot. Then again I do not know why you are copying it maybe you want it to play on you pc.

I already tried that and it wont work i think the disc is burned a special way?? Anyone else can help?

My original disc is scratched at a certain part and wont work. So i want to see if i back it up and swap it where the laser is struggling, it might load properly.

BTW, it's possible to play dvd backups with just swap magic 3.6 cd and a slim ps2 :)

You can't get a full .ISO of Swap Magic. You can get all the files off the DVD disc except the ROM_0.BIN so just make your own dummy name it that and make an .ISO with all the other files. Can only boot from a modchip or another Swap Magic thought but I put it on my HD Loader for Shadow of the Colossus and Jak X(Andrew691 is helping me do that)
