RE4 saves always become corrupt??

i saved a re4 game on my memory card. i load it and it says failed to load and that it might be corrupt. i restarted and saved on 2 separate files, and both are corrupt. wtf??
i have a burned version of re4

There have been issues with RE4 corrupting MC's. You could use DMS's MC format tool, but I believe that it wipes out all your save data.

is there any way to play re4 and save properly?

i used the my modchips firmware disk and formated my memory card.

just searched around. apparently re4 requires a authentic SONY made memory card. is this true?

are there other games similar to re4? corrupting everything except SONY memory cards?

I don't think so. This can occur sometimes when using non Sony MC's. Unfortunately they only beta test the PS2 with official Sony product's, so things like this get overlooked.

does re4 work with all versions of the genuine sony memory card? i just bought a used sony card on ebay for $11

get a mem card reader back up your save data, wipe it clean and then use dmc format tool to fix it and then buy a new sony made MC
