Splitting ISO/compressed ISO files into parts...

Please help out a newbie here...

1.I downloaded suikoden III (1 GB, .RAR file) recently and I need to transfer it to another computer (SO I can burn it to DVD there)... I used 7-zip to split the file into two and I used a CD-RW twice for both the files and re-combined them in the other computer again using the same software... Is this ok? or a complete no no? does it affect the integrity of the file(s)?

Also, is it ok to do the same for ISO and all other image files?

And finally, when burning an MDS file using DVD Decrypter (As in Suikoden III), does decrypter burn the individual files to the DVD or convert it to ISO/BIN/Other ps2-readable images?

i cant see there being a problem in transfering rar files on 2 cd disk's,as long as they are put back in the one folder onto the other pc
