Those of you living around a Microcenter might want to know that the media they sell as Windata is actually a Taiyo Yuden media. I DVD Identified it as this:

I did a search first to see if anything was mentioned. Also the media is very cheap 12.99 for a 50 pack is standard fare. Unless these are just fakes.... but I'm sure some knowledgable people around here will know

have you tried backing up any games on them yet because I Bought a 50 pack about a year ago and could not get any games to work on them so i used some for dvds and ended up throwing half in the trash so i dought that they are taiyo yuden but i could be wrong.

I had some trouble with them backing up dvd movies but I updated my firmware and they work fine now. With PS2 games I am gonna find out in the next couple of days if they work good
