Matrix Infinity 1.75 will not play backups..

I installed the Matrix Infinity and flashed it to V1.75, I will not play any backups, DVD movies or CD's.. It still plays PS2 orig games.. I Have a V12 PS2. It played one burnt DVD at first (turned it on let it boot then powered it off to test) since then it hasn't played a single game.. Did the laser get burnt in that short time? I have a Subzero fix on the way, will installing it resolve the problem..

I have a Sony DRU810 DVD drive and i've tried Verbatim Advanced AZO +R disks, Sony AccuCore (+R and -R), Verbatim Video Gaurd +R.. These are all high end disks. any ideas?

I have also a PSTwo V12, and a Matrix Infinity Green Dot. I update the firmware from 1.68 version to 1.75 and all my backups plays correctly, also original games and dvd.
I have read that if you flash a clone matrix (not an original one) it breaks so that could be the reason that you can play original games but not backups.
Make sure you have an original MI.

I have installed firmware 1.75 bur they say you can change the bitmap by simply replacing it with another bitmap in the bin file. It has 128*32 p/inches and 256 colors at 8bit 96 pixels per inch still it won't install. When I don't change the original file it can be installed. It seems I can't change the bitmap. Imma noob
