I cant get San Andreas to load. Durring loading, it say disc error cant load . Im using a dvd-r verbatem. Any suggestions my other backup is working.

Hmm what software are you booting it with. SM3.3, 3.6, etc? Because if it's swap magic try burning with DVD Decrypter at 4x. Ususally when it gets that to it could be a bad iso or something just completely wrong.



In fact I think we would be fooling our selves if we have a community this large, and did not realize that there are some enemies present.

ill try ripping it again. Should I use -r or +r for San Andreas?

if u use +R remember to booktype

53. Q. What is Booktyping?
A. Booktyping is the ability to burn a DVD+R so it that appears as a pressed DVD-ROM in any DVD-ROM drive it's inserted in. If you booktype DVD+R's, this allows for greater compatibility with most stand alone DVD players, including your PS2. Your burner has to support booktyping (most newer ones do).

i would go for + with s/a they work a whole lot better due to as sa is allways loading off the disk and you need real good media if not you get a real bad time lag

in decryptor, there is not a tab for my pioneer 109 burner to change the booktype. What do I do?

i was reading that some ps2 versions cannot read +r and some can't read -r dvds

how do i find out my version type, i do remember reading on the box that it would do +r. The driver version is 5.1 is this what you reference?

Also, Would it be better to burn with Sony +r or Verbatem +r
