Wouldn't worry about that, my pc has been on constant for the last 6 months apart from the odd restart and it still works fine.

Well i_suck, i spose you can do it as i left mine of for a week when i went on holiday but just remember i have a powerful fan installed, i think when you go get your video card maybe you should get a new fan while your at it.
